Care and Use of Your Salt Crystal Goods

salt crystal lamps and salt crystal candleholders will give you many years of healthy service with careful treatment. For a smooth and trouble free time with your salt crystal lamp or candle holder we make some recommendations:

Salt crystal lamps and candleholders are not suitable for outdoor use or damp environments (e.g. bathroom, kitchen). If placed in these situations, the salt can absorb moisture from the air and become damp on the surface. Frequently repeated dampness may change the appearance of the crystal.

Salt Crystal Lamps:

Your salt lamp comes with a bulb and mains lead with a fitting to attach the bulb. To use:

1) Screw the bulb into the fitting, plug in and test the bulb. Then unplug the lead.
2) Carefully place the lamp on its side so you can see the channel inside the crystal
3) Push the metal spring clips on the bulb fitting up or down so that they will fit inside the channel
4) Insert the bulb, fitting and metal spring clips into the channel
5) Release the spring clips, the bulb fitting should now be secure in the channel
6) Place the lamp in your desired place (make sure this place is solid, stable & level).
7) Plug in to the mains and switch on or off as required.

If the electric lamp surface becomes damp from storage in an unsuitable enviroment, avoid electrical hazards by placing the lamp in a warm, dry room to dry off before use.

Salt Crystal Candle holders:

The candleholders are simple to use. Just place T-light candles inside the channel or channels and light safely as you normally would.

Take care not to place on flimsy surfaces, any surfaces that are not level, or surfaces that could be damaged by heat. As with all naked flames, take care if you are near the candleholder when lit and do not place any flammable or heat sensitive articles above the flame.

Candleholders may be lit if damp from being stored in an incorrect environment, the heat will dry the crystal naturally.

This service delivers the day after dispatch and is best for urgent light packages or urgent packages to the Channel Isles.

COURIER SERVICE

Deliveries to mainland UK (excl. IV/KW postcodes) are cheapest by our day after dispatch courier service if over 2.25kg.

UK offshore & KW/IV postcodes (excl. Channel Isles) 3 day service is cheapest for parcels over 8kg
