Terms & Conditions: Delivery Schedule
99% of orders are dispatched the next working day after receipt unless a note is placed on the website advising of any delay. The 1st attempted delivery then normally additionally takes:
Standard Packet (2nd class): Within 5 business days Standard Parcel: Within 5 business days Express (1st class): Within 2 business days Courier (mainland UK except IV & KW Postcodes): Next working day Offshore Courier (Other UK except Channel Isles): Within 3 Business Days Premium (all UK): Next working day - best for urgent small items & Channel Isles
These times are not guaranteed but under normal conditions delays are rare. Occasionally we may upgrade your service at no extra charge to you or substitute courier/premium services unless you email us after ordering to instruct us not to. We will never downgrade you to a slower service.
Premium & Courier services have additional tracking facilities included in the service.
Someone may need to sign for delivery unless you have given us permission to leave in a specified place. However, if this specified place is not secure Calm N Comfy will not accept liability for non receipt.
If delivery is not possible a calling card should be left for you to either arrange re-delivery when someone will be in or for you to collect from the delivery depot. If you do not contact the carrier soon after the 1st attempted delivery your goods may be returned to Calm N Comfy, your order cancelled & any postage paid will be non refundable.
Other Points regarding delivery
International orders cannot be taken at present.
Your shipping confirmation email will give instructions to follow for the rare occasions when goods are late.
If delivery is not possible because an incorrect delivery address was given during ordering, and we were not informed of the correct address before dispatch, we cannot refund the shipping charges should we receive the parcel back.
Delivery details should have a name and address that match a generally accepted form of ID in case there is no-one in at the delivery address when 1st attempted delivery takes place. If you are unable to provide a fully matching ID form on collection, the carrier may refuse to release the goods. Should goods be returned to us for this reason your shipping charges are non-refundable.
