Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payment online (128 bit secure encryption), or offline by telephone or fax or post. (In the interest of your data security we do not accept card details by email) .We regret we no longer accept cheques/postal orders due to excessive bank charges. Please do not send cash.

We accept the following UK cards:
Online: Visa, Visa UK Delta, Visa UK Electron, Mastercard, UK Maestro, JCB, Solo
Offline: Visa (except Electron), Mastercard (except Switch/Maestro), JCB & American Express.

When you receive an email confirmation of order from us, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

We may refuse to accept an order:
(a) where goods are not available;
(b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
(c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or
(d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
Shipping And Handling We offer all our customers a choice of UK premium (signature on receipt), express or standard carriage. All shipping charges will be charged by weight & this will be visible in view basket page at any point of the buying process. You can experiment with the cost of different shipping schedules at the 2nd checkout phase, before you commit to buying.
Shipping charges are shown net of VAT, VAT will be added to the final bill at 17.5%.
Delivery Schedule Your order will be despatched 1 to 2 working days after day of receipt. The 1st attempted delivery then normally additionally takes:

Standard (2nd class): Within 5 business days
Express (1st class): Within 2 business days
Courier (mainland UK except IV & KW Postcodes): Next working day
Offshore Courier (Other UK except Channel Isles): Within 3 Business Days
Premium (all UK): Next working day - best for urgent small items & Channel Isles

These times are not guaranteed but under normal conditions delays are rare. Occasionally we may upgrade your service at no extra charge to you or substitute courier/premium services unless you email us after ordering to instruct us not to. We will never downgrade you to a slower service.

Premium & Courier services have additional tracking facilities included in the service.

Someone may need to sign for delivery unless you have given us permission to leave in a specified place. However, if this specified place is not secure Calm N Comfy will not accept liability for non receipt.

If delivery is not possible a calling card should be left for you to either arrange re-delivery when someone will be in or for you to collect from the delivery depot. If you do not contact the carrier soon after the 1st attempted delivery your goods may be returned to Calm N Comfy, your order cancelled & any postage paid will be non refundable.

Other Points regarding delivery

International orders cannot be taken at present.

Your shipping confirmation email will give instructions to follow for the rare occasions when goods are late.
Back Orders Our stock system should ensure you cannot order an out of stock item. Should there be an occasional fault with the stock sytem that allows you to order a stock-out item we will contact you and give you the choice of:

1) waiting a little longer for a re-stock (we will advise you how long)

2) The option to part cancel your order if you would rather not wait. If you decide to part cancel we will refund the difference immediately.
Tax Charges We are registered for VAT. Our VAT number is 927 8738 70
Products are shown on the website inclusive of VAT if the product is a vatable items.
Shipping charges are shown net of VAT, VAT will be added to the final bill at 17.5%.
Debit/Credit Card Security We assure you that if you pay online (via our partners Secure Hosting and Barclays ePDQ) you can be confident that your card details are protected by industry leading SSL 128 bit encryption to ensure secure transmission of your information.



To pay online, In the checkout phase simply select as your payment method "ePDQ Secure Online Card Payment" and click next. You will then be directed to our "Secure Hosting" page where you can safely enter your card details. While on this page you will see the golden padlock in your browser to indicate security.

Once all your card details are in, you click next or continue to depart from the secure hosting page & automatically continue back to the Calm 'N' Comfy site to collect your e-receipt.

If you pass your card details directly to Calm 'N' Comfy by phone, fax or post. We will safeguard those details by secure storage, never on a networked computer. After a reasonable time period following the transaction we will destroy any card information we hold.

You will have the same level of security if you choose to pay by card securely with 128 bit encription via Pay Pal. You will be directed to a paypal url page with a Calm N Comfy header to enter your card details before continuing on to your Calm N Comfy e receipt.
